Long time no see, but I have news for you:)

Tonight I finished this beauty:

I used a diagram found on Pinterest, but I modified first rounds.

I started with 90 chains and a 5(H/8) mm hook for size M/L. For smaller/bigger size change the hook and/or change the number of beginning chains (80 for S/M, 120 for XXL and so on).

Work in circle:

Round 1: 1 dc crochet in each chain around, close ring.

Round 2:  ch 3, *cross stitch, ch 1 (to increase)* in each st, and repeat, close circle.

Round 3: ch 3 (counts as a dc), 1 dc in each st around.

Split your work in 4 equal parts.

For the front:

Chain 4, sc in 3rd st, repeat 9 times.

Row 1: ch 3 (doesn’t count as dc), 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc around first ch 4, ch 3, 11 dc around 3rd ch 4 from previous row, ch 3, 2 dc, ch2, 2dc around 5th ch 4, ch 3, 11 dc around 7th ch4, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc around 9th ch4.

Row 2: ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 2dc in first ch 2 from previous round, *ch 3, 1 dc, ch 1 in each next 11 dc, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in next ch 2*, repeat * * one more time.

And now you can follow the diagram.

I’ll be back with some new dresses, shortly I hope, because I have few days off and I can craft:D. Maybe some jewelry too…

Playing with yarns

I didn’t post for a while, but this doesn’t mean that I didn’t crochet, knit or bead. And I discovered one of my first embroidery pattern. It is almost 20 years old…

Crochet first.

Something for the season, in pink and grey with hearts, of course.

A #neckwarmer with hearts and some shells:

2014-02-07 21.41.35-4 2014-02-07 21.43.33-1 2014-02-07 21.43.33-2 2014-02-07 21.45.52-2 2014-02-07 21.45.52-3 2014-02-07 21.45.52-4

A cute pink #crochet collar with a pearl button:

2014-02-07 21.26.47-1 2014-02-07 21.26.47-2 2014-02-07 21.26.47-3 2014-02-07 21.26.47-4 2014-02-07 21.26.47-5

A finger knitted scarf or neckwarmer. I love the color, and the yarn. I made some fingerless mittens too with this yarn, but I do’t find the pictures… later, maybe.

2014-02-07 21.52.09-1

Still #knitting, but a sweater this time:

2014-02-01 15.51.34-2 2014-02-01 15.51.34-4 2014-02-07 21.50.02-1 2014-02-07 21.50.02-4

Cute, I think. ( I am modest now:D)

In few hours I will post those hearts, for neckwarmer too (the crocheted one).

and #beading, an embroidered pendant with a leopardin pattern glass cabochon, on leather:

2014-01-22 17.41.08-7 2014-01-22 17.41.08-9 2014-01-22 17.41.08-10

Now I am thinking at necklace. I think an I-cord, or a tatted necklace, or maybe crochet with beads…

As I said, I discovered this piece of paper:

2014-02-07 21.14.55-1 2014-02-07 21.14.55-2

maybe I will use it now. It is 15 x 20 cm, but I don’t remember what I wanted to do with it…

Now, is dinner time, I will share the hearts after.

I mean now:

2014-02-08 12.28.46-1 2014-02-08 12.28.46-2

These can be used to knit, crochet (sc or slip stitch, carrying your second color), or beaded (brick stitch, or loom, or crochet bracelets).

In the first graph 0 is grey and x is pink, you can choose your own colors.

For cowl I used a 5 mm hook (H/8), with a medium weight yarn, started with 70 chains, and then sc (dc UK).

Have fun!
