Hello Cindy Shephard, you only crochet stripes and needle join them at the end…it is actually easy to make
I find found it difficult to read the pattern lifted because it’s not quite clear. I love the dress also.
The white one? Start with a braide in the middle: R.1 ch 3, 2dc in first ch. ch 2, 2 dc in first ch
R2-n :ch 5, 2dc, ch 2, 2 dc in the previous round ch 2.
When you reach your desired length work those fans in the sides.
And join the stripes as you go (on picot).

The good news is I bought some white yarn:D the bad news: it’s a skein and is acrylique, but works great on 3-5 mm hook;)

Hi, love your dresses. I make halter tops and need a way to make them stiff but yet still soft and wearable. How do you get yours to look so sharp and crisp.
I don’t use stiffener, I let my client to decide if he wants or not to stiff it;) And mercerized cotton it isn’t soft, use some organic cotton, or maybe acrylic blend, bamboo etc.

Make stripes and join together on top of those fans, or start from the bottom and make that shape with your dimmensions.
