For the headband / neckwarmer / cowl pattern:

With a N crochet hook and 2 strands worst weight yarn ch 45 (for a larger cowl you can use a P crochet hook), join with sl st in the first ch (don’t twist chain!)

ch 1, 1 sc in each chain around. At the end of the round, twist your work and work 1 sc in each chain from the beginning ch 45.

Work continuous rounds with this ripple stitch:

And a crocheted spiral/rope bracelet:

red crocheted rope

Crochet earrings for Christmas

Nice lace crochet flower earring. I used a 1 mm steel crochet hook and cotton thread:D

searrings earrings3earrings2

Round 1: Chain 3, 11 dc in the first ch, join with sl st in the third ch from the beginning ch 3.

Round 2: ch 3, 2 dc tog in the same st (beginning cluster), ch 2, *3 dc tog (cluster of 3) in the next dc, ch 2*, repeat *_* 10 more times, join with sl st in the third ch from the beginning ch 3. (12 clusters)

Round 3: ch 4 (counts as 1 dc and ch 1), dc in the next ch 2, ch 1, *dc in the next cluster, ch 1, dc in the next ch 2 from the previous round, ch 1*; repeat *_* all around, join with sl st in the third ch from the beginning ch 3 (24 dc)

Round 4: *ch 4, sc in the next ch from the previous round*, repeat *_* all around, join with sl st in the first ch from the beginning ch 4.

Fasten off. Block with stiffener, if you want to, I am not a big fan.

Embellishment:

Choose 4 (or 2, if you use only for one side), flower shape crystals or glass beads, and 4 white seed beads. Sew one seed bead and one crystal on every side of your flowers, and add some findings. ( I used silver plated, but you can use whatever you want or have already) ,and voila! You have nice earrings for Christmas. Works as a nice gift too! Add that it is fast too! (Even you are a beginner, it won’ take you more than an hour.)

Maybe pinterest works better:)

Perfect gift for him:) Winter men modern scarf

A 2 m long winter scarf for him

men crocheted scarf1 esarfa detaliu

better pictures on Sunday, now it’s 10 pm here, and artificial light… with black…

Anyway, the pattern is very easy, but it looks like a knitted scarf.

You will need a K/6.5 mm crochet hook and 200g of  yarn (a sport yarn, or a 2 strand of a soft yarn), I used Fine 2 for coats in 2 strands almost 4 skeins of Red Heart Margareta, easy to find for anyone and at a fair price at  my yarn shop)

Abbreviations: (US terms and UK in  the brackets [ ])

ch = chain

hdc = half double crochet [dc = double crochet]

dc = double crochet [tr = treble or triple crochet]

st = stitch; sts = stitches

Chain 250.

R1: ch 2, hdc in every ch [dc in every ch]  (250 sts)

Round 2 and all rounds: work in the loop behind the st (not in the front loop nor in the back loop; behind the back loop is a smaller one, work in that loop); chain 2, hdc in every st from the previous round [ch 2, dc in every st from the previous round]

Rounds 3-20 Repeat round 2.

At the  edges,  I made some shells, so I can add fringes:

1 sc [hdc] in the corner, *skip 2 rows, in the relief st work 3 dc [tr], ch 3, 3 dc [tr], skip the next 2 rounds, sc [hdc] in the next relief st*; repeat *_* as you need. In those ch 3 you can add fringes, if you want to.

Tip: try another color! Black works like hell, especially in the evening!

A new raid on Internet looking for something cute to make this weekend

Let’s see what I found :pendant or earring

First some beaded earrings or pendant, looks good for me, I will give a try later.

Next, 104563418_large_a99857f2489a89e35972ee2ee12f5273 (1) is a very nice shawl, lace crochet with fans, my favorites.

And the last one for now should be a tatting something I guess, but I prefer this:

0_8f592_c592aefa_XLwith a chart which says it belongs to someone from Russia, but I found it on a brazilian image host site…0_8f595_3de3ee77_L

And other cute things, with charts or only for inspiration100717166_large_77100717167_large_78100717168_large_7998904641_large_065459e095e1e29ed5f821f38e3f5bef100279995_large_35894530481_large_441567694530483_large_1778253pp-zelpp-zel2

The dress and the sunflower blanket, vintage or not, are absolutely gorgeous!

Now choose your project and have fun!
