Lovely crocheted collar

I used a 6.5 mm hook (K) and 150 m Red Heart Detroit yarn (says 3 on label at weight). I think organic cotton is the same. Didn’t try yet.

US terms

Abbreviations:

ch = chain,

st(s) = stitch(es)

dc = double crochet

V stitch = double crochet, ch 2, dc in same st

tr = treble

Chain 60, not too tight.

Row 1: ch 3 (counts as dc, here and in each row from here), dc in the forth ch from the hook and in each next 59 sts (60 dc).

Row 2:  ch 3, dc in next st, *2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in third st*, repeat until you reach last 2 sts, dc in each next 2 sts.

Row 3:  ch 3, dc in next st, ch 1, *2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in the next ch 1 space, ch 1*, repeat *_* in each ch 1 space, dc in each last 2 sts.

Row 4: ch 3, dc in next st, ch 1, *2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in the next ch 1 space, ch 1*, repeat *_* in each ch 1 space, dc in each last 2 sts.

Row 5: repeat row 4.

Row 6: ch 3, dc in next st, ch 2, *2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in the next ch 1 space, ch 2*, repeat *_* in each ch 1 space, dc in each last 2 sts.

Row 7: ch 3, dc in next st, ch 2, *dc in each next 2 sts, dc, ch 2, dc in next ch 2 space, dc in next 2 sts, ch 2*, repeat *_* until the end of the row (it supposed to finish in 2 dc).

Row 8: ch 3, dc in next st, ch 2, *dc in each next 3 sts, dc, ch 2, dc in next ch 2 space, dc in each next 3 sts, ch 2*; repeat *_* until the end of the row (dc in last 2 sts).

Row 9: ch 3, dc in next st, 7 dc in second ch 2 space ( in the top of that V stitch), dc, ch 1, dc in next ch 2 space (the lower one), *7 dc in next ch 2 space, dc, ch 1, dc in next ch 2 space*; repeat *_* until you reach last ch 2 space, before last 2 dc. Just skip this last chain (don’t work on it) and make dc in each next 2 dc.

I can say is a beginner intermediate-easy pattern? But it’s cute.

For embelishment flowers: I chained 50, slip stitch in the 6th ch from the hook (ring formed).

Turn your work. #Ch 4,  3 tr cluster (3 tr worked together) ch 4, sg in ring# = 1 petal made. Make 3 petals.

And that’s it;)

P.S. If you have any problem, comment or send a message.

Lace crocheted dress

Sales gone, it’s time for something new, for summer>

lace crocheted dress

It’s a dress in pink and green, made with crochet thread (Alize) and a 1.5 mm steel crochet hook. It is a retro style I think, but fits great.

Now more pictures and the stitches I used. The upper part is made joining vertical bands (stripes) of motives.

Pictures first, than some patterns or stitches I used.

upper det dress 011 dress 018 dress 041 dress 045

For the upper part I used some circles in a square, you can choose any granny squares, with flowers maybe, from http://www.idainteriorlifestyle.com/2011/07/crochet-tutorial-sunburst-in-square.html or maybe pinterest

or google search…

or the granny from the shrug maybe:

I added an extra round of dc, ch 2.

For the flower stripes :

lotus flower

and for the back and front joining: (the orange stitch) R1: ch 3, sc in 4th  st, repeat; R2: 3dc in next ch 3 space, ch 1, and repeat.

And the skirt. First join the top of  the dress (upper side). Then work in rounds: First round: chain 3, sc in 3rd st.

For first stitch I didn’t find any image, and it’s pretty easy: 5 dc, ch 2 and reapeat all around. (I made 10 rounds.)

The second one: (the 3rd one from the picture) (I made 8 rounds)

For the next stitch, let’s see if I find something:

I didn’t, obvious: it’s 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in same st, ch 1, reapeat all around ( to increase ch 2, if you need).

I wanted to use this one,  I don’t remember why I didn’t…

I will keep all these pictures. Maybe will help.

And finally, the pineapple motif: first one from the bottom.

For size S?M I used this diagram:

I used a fan stitch border with picots. But this is at your choice:)

found on pinterest some:

Just a suggestion: try a different color, it’s pretty tough to work on black…

And my WIP this week:

It’s a dress in summer colors. It will be a dress, I hope I will finish it soon.

Some updates to bolero

Few new pictures in natural light:

bolero 3 bolero det bolero0

And how to do it:

First make a pattern with your (desired) dimensions. It will look like this:

2014-02-22 22.05

Mine looks like this, if you need  S:

2014-02-22 22.11

And I used these stitches, first for the main part, second for sleeves. You can use another one, if you don’t like it.

2014-02-22 22.18

I don’t find now a decent photo, sorry for this one.

First is a multiple of 10 (+4 sts, so you can start each row with 2 dc, or first and last group of 5 dc will be reduced at 2-3 dc to fit your dimensions)

I used a 5 mm hook (H/8) and a medium weight yarn.

Gauge: 17 sts x 9 rows of pattern = 10 x10 cm (4 x 4 inches)

Chain as many as you need to fit your desired dimension, or start with foundation sc, as you wish.

Row 1: ch 3, 1dc  in each next 2 sts, skip 2 sts, 5 dc in next st (shell), skip 2 sts, *1dc in each next 5 sts, skip 2 sts, 5 dc in the next st*, repeat *_* until the last 2 sts, finish row with 2 dc.

Row 2: ch 3, dc in the next st, 5 dc in 3rd st (in top of the shell formed in row 1) , skip 2 sts, *1 dc in each next 5 sts, skip 2 sts, 5 dc in top of the next shell, skip 2 sts*; repeat *_* until the end of the row.

2014-02-16 18.29.37-3 2014-02-16 18.29.37-4 2014-02-16 18.29.37-5 2014-02-16 18.29.37-6 2014-02-16 18.29.37-7

The sleeves will look like this:

2014-02-16 18.29.37-1 2014-02-16 18.29.37-2

Hard to see the pattern, but you can see the shape.

Join together and choose a nice border. (Join the sleeves from the top point, it’s much easier.)

Instead of  buttons I made 2 bullion st flowers with little pearls in the middle.

I hope you will find this useful:).

Have a nice weekend!

Some tops, blouse short and long sleeves

Nice motif any way

this one is gorgeous, but really need some sleeves for winter;)

a nice jacket or blanket, or shawl with these flower motives

some irish crochet motives, or freeform, however you want (could be in cotton, or wool, or mix yarns as you like it)

you find the arangement here :http://kniti.ru/2011/02/goluboj-vyazanyj-zhaket-iz-motivov/

finally a long sleeves blouse;)

I wish I can translate:) but looks pretty good

I didn't find those specific flowers, but the next ones will work great:)

this one is my favorite 🙂

I mean these ones, or another sweater / pullover / cardigan

Enjoy it:)

Perfect gift for him:) Winter men modern scarf

men crocheted scarf1 esarfa detaliu

better pictures on Sunday, now it’s 10 pm here, and artificial light… with black…

Anyway, the pattern is very easy, but it looks like a knitted scarf.

You will need a K/6.5 mm crochet hook and 200g of  yarn (a sport yarn, or a 2 strand of a soft yarn), I used Fine 2 for coats in 2 strands almost 4 skeins of Red Heart Margareta, easy to find for anyone and at a fair price at  my yarn shop)

Abbreviations: (US terms and UK in  the brackets [ ])

ch = chain

hdc = half double crochet [dc = double crochet]

dc = double crochet [tr = treble or triple crochet]

st = stitch; sts = stitches

Chain 250.

R1: ch 2, hdc in every ch [dc in every ch]  (250 sts)

Round 2 and all rounds: work in the loop behind the st (not in the front loop nor in the back loop; behind the back loop is a smaller one, work in that loop); chain 2, hdc in every st from the previous round [ch 2, dc in every st from the previous round]

Rounds 3-20 Repeat round 2.

At the  edges,  I made some shells, so I can add fringes:

1 sc [hdc] in the corner, *skip 2 rows, in the relief st work 3 dc [tr], ch 3, 3 dc [tr], skip the next 2 rounds, sc [hdc] in the next relief st*; repeat *_* as you need. In those ch 3 you can add fringes, if you want to.

Tip: try another color! Black works like hell, especially in the evening!

Short sleeves sweater pattern

This gallery contains 6 photos.

Let’s make a lace sweater, easy but gorgeous. I have some diagrams from a russian magazine, let’s hope that works like this;) I found it here: http://www.liveinternet.ru/users/tanusa/post117760302/ Let’s start to write a pattern for those who don’t work with diagrams: I use Ecolana, suitable for a 3-4 mm crochet hook.
